Program #9 of my Beethoven cycle includes the op. 27/1 sonata as a sort of “prelude” to the magnificent “Eroica” Symphony in Liszt’s transcription.

I am honored to be a featured guest artist at this festival, celebrating the centennial of composer Robert Owens’ birth.
Program #5 in the four-year cycle of Beethoven sonatas and symphonies features the op. 22, op. 26, and op. 27/2 (“Moonlight”) sonatas.
I’ll be attending the biannual National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, advertising Wayland’s online Certificate in Piano Pedagogy and our online bachelor’s degree in piano studies.
Along with other Christian piano faculty from around the USA, I’ll be teaching at the inaugural Excelsior Piano Academy at the Thüringer Landesmusikakademie in Sondershausen. The academy is designed for talented high school and college students as well as independent piano teachers looking for professional mentorship and teaching tips.
I’ll be attending the annual Texas Music Teachers Association conference, as well as officer and board meetings before and after the conference.
I’ll be attending our Wayland choirs’ performance of Faure’s Requiem in Carnegie Hall!
